Kathy Alan – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kathy Alan took over duties as Executive Director of the GBBCGC in July of 2018. She has 29 years of experience as a music educator, with 26 years directing HS and MS choirs, mainly in the Winneconne Community and Waupaca School Districts. That experience will serve her well as Artistic Director of the Girl Choirs and conductor of Con Brio.
Kathy has extensive performing experience, as a professional vocalist of jazz, classical, and pop/rock. She is a vocalist in Jazz Central Voices, a vocal jazz ensemble from Wausau, and a singer/keyboardist in the Fox Valley band STEEM. She has sung with the Fox Valley Symphony and Lawrence University choral and instrumental ensembles. Kathy leads music and the liturgical choir at St. Mary's Church in Winneconne.
Ms. Alan has directed choirs in the Fox Valley PAC Choral Festival, and has led her choirs on many performance tours to cities such as Toronto, New York City, Orlando, New Orleans, and Washington DC. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association and American Choral Directors Association, having coordinated the Wisconsin All State Choir Project in 2015 and 2016.
In her free time, Kathy likes to attend live music performances, walk/hike, kayak, and travel. Catching up with her teenage son and hanging at home with her cat mostly fill up the rest of her free time.

BOARD of DIRECTORS
Amy Friberg-Wyckoff, MSM, currently serves as the President of GBBCGC Board of Directors and has been involved with the Board of Directors since 2012. Her current duties include Personnel and Board Development for the organization, as well as cheering on her choir members as a Parent Manager.
Amy has been dedicated to the performing arts for over 30 years and has spent a lifetime of supporting others to find their own self potential and creative fulfillment through community involvement, job coaching, and children's programs. She truly believes that music is the universal language and that everyone can find their voice through performance.
By day, Amy is the business manager for Dental Arts Associates of Green Bay, Ltd., a local group general dentistry office. She enjoys the theatre, the outdoors and spending time with her children as they explore the excitement of mountain biking, cross-country skiing, geographical history and music. In a nutshell, she is a self-professed nerd.
Linda Cook has been serving on the Board of Directors for six years and is a proud parent to David, a member of the Joliet Choir, and Amy, a member of the Con Brio Choir. Linda is dedicated to providing quality music education and fostering personal growth for each and every choir member.
Linda is an Assistant Professor of Music at St. Norbert College, currently in her 24th year, and teaches trumpet, horn, theory, music history, world music, directs the Bell Choir and observes student teachers. She and her family spend countless hours fostering kittens, cats and dogs through the Bay Area Humane Society. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, gardening and learning how to fix stuff.
Susan McAllister has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2014 after having spent a year as Artistic Director of e Green Bay Boy Choir. As one of the non-parent community representatives, her dedication to the GBBCGC is rooted in her belief that a young person's opportunity to experience the beauty and power of the art of choral music in community with others contributes toward their building a successful and fulfilling life.
Susan, a retired public school music educator, is currently an Adjunct Instructor of Music Education at St. Norbert College, and serves her community and state through involvement on a number of boards of music/art and professional associations. She loves to read, garden, cook, swim, travel, and attend concerts, plays, opera, and musicals with her husband Tom.
Debbie Scray has been serving on the Board of Directors for more than seven years. She is dedicated to fostering the growth of youth in community.
Debbie works as a realtor for Shorewest and Seidl & Associates. Her hobbies include skiing, traveling, serving on various boards in the community, and helping out with the family business, Scray Cheese.
Douglas Coyle, M.D., has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2016. He is a proud parent to choir members in the Nicolet, Con Brio, Arietta, and Preludio choirs. He is dedicated to providing an environment that fosters personal growth and the development of leadership skills.
During the day Doug works as a Radiologist at Bellin Hospital. His hobbies include reading to his children, travel, attending musical and theatrical performances, and spending time in Door County.
Kristine Luebke has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2014 and is a proud parent to a choir member in the Con Brio choir. She is dedicated to providing quality music education and performance opportunities or our youth.
During the day, Kristine works as an elementary Physical Education teacher for the West DePere School District. Hobbies include spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, volunteering for Green Acres Boxer Rescue of Wisconsin and Girl Scouts, exercising, sewing, photography, and scrapbooking.
Erica Schintgen has been serving on the Board of Directors for one year and is a proud parent to a choir member in the Cantabile choir. She is dedicated to ensuring all children have access to quality music education..
During the day, Erica works as a student pursuing a degree in education. Hobbies include traveling, reading, bike riding, cooking, and spending as much time with her family as she can.
